I never
thought I really had anything “that important” that I couldn't live without

I was upgrading to Quick Books 2001 when I accidentally overwrote 7

Thank you, SDS! I didn't think we really needed a
backup and recovery service, but your backup ideas and networking ideas were so
good, I thought it would be worth trying. After getting my computers networked
and set up with your automated backup and recovery service, everything went
smoothly, and unnoticed.
Unfortunately, our client
database program was running when there was a power outage at the office, and
the next morning, the program would not work at all. Talking with tech support,
it was necessary to totally remove the
program and reinstall it, and they asked if the database was backed up. I remembered the "automatic backup to an underground vault across
town", and the technician laughed. Well, we got the program
installed, but of course there was no data.
To make a
long story short, I was able to recover the entire client database by following
the detailed e-mail instructions John sent. This could have cost
